Implementation of a multilingual, application based, family activation of a rapid response system.
The project, in a nutshell
We partnered with the Nottingham Children's Hospital (part of Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust) to design and develop an app which solves the breakdown in communication between parents & guardians and medical teams for children and young people.
The multilingual app allows the families of young patients to access rapid response teams within the hospital, should they see signs of deterioration in their child. The app improves children’s safety by giving parents and guardians a voice, leading to the earlier recognition of acute deterioration, which greatly improves a child’s chance of survival.
